Black Tourmaline is an excellent protection stone especially in keeping negative energy and darkness away. I'd highly recommend a piece of Black Tourmaline if you do not have it already. I like to carry a small piece with me for protection especially when travelling & keep it near my desk when working.
It is a stone that cleanses and purifies, changing any negative energies that may surround into more positive ones.
